The Norfolk Artisan Project has been setup to use the front of empty retail units for the display and sale of local artists work.

It is proven that vacant retail properties have a negative impact upon the areas they inhabit. Shoppers and visitors to an area become less likely to return, and passing trade for other retailers declines. This in-turn weakens the empty units market position, causing area investment to stagnate.

Lets do something positive.

This allows:

• The Artists to sell and interact directly with the public.
• The Public the chance to discover original art in new places.
• The Landlord the opportunity to receive an income from empty units.
